Application

Retractable type fall arresters offer an ideal combination of maximum user comfort and maximum safety, whilst at the same time allowing users full freedom of movement.

 

BORNACK recommends connecting the retractable type fall arresters with the harness via a »shortcut«-solution. This involves also attaching the retractable type fall arrester into the fall-arrest harness directly in addition to the belay device.

Use

The integrated spiral spring keeps the lanyard made of wire cable pretensioned. The
user can climb freely without having to tighten his belay cable manually when climbing or descending. If the user falls, the withdrawn rope activates a centrifugally controlled blocking device and catches the user securely.
